STREET LIGHTS brings America’s “millennial” urban youth to life with a groundbreaking, explosive hip-hop, R&B, and soul score. The score is truly contemporary, and mixes modern production techniques with samples from recordings made during the civil rights movement. Think Rent meets Kanye West.

We are proud to announce that STREET LIGHTS was selected to have a fully staged production Oct. 13 – Oct. 18, 2009 at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. The NYMF is a not-for-profit organization, and we cannot bring this work to life without the support of people like you. Certainly in these difficult times, we need bold pieces like this to lift us, transport us, and move us in the way only great live theater can.
